I've been working on several DIY home improvement projects, one of which is painting our dark kitchen cabinets white. I took all 16 of them down, removed the hardware, washed them, sanded them, and began priming them with Zinsser's oil-based "Cover Stain" primer. Yesterday we did the doors' insides and today I did the outsides. I got almost all of them cut in before some ominous-looking clouds joined the party. I was a on roll and I didn't know when our next un-rainy day was going to be, so I brought the whole operation inside. Because the paint is very stinky, I assumed the cats and dog would avoid the doors like the plague. .....You know what comes next.
